Are you an experienced accountant with a solid understanding of the club industry? Nambucca Heads RSL Club is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Accountant to join our dedicated team.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is vital in supporting the financial operations of our Club. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting support, and compliance, while working collaboratively with our external auditor and management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including monthly profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Reconcile accounts and manage accounts payable/receivable
  • Support payroll and superannuation compliance
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry regulations
  • Provide financial insights and reports to support Board and Management decisions

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in the club or hospitality sector
  • Strong knowledge of the club industry’s financial operations and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently, with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Relevant accounting qualifications

Desirable:

  • Understanding of SwiftPOS and Employment Hero systems
  • Experience with grant reporting and insurance claims an advantage

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Cellarman to take responsibility for the efficient operation of our beverage cellar and stock control systems. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory management, quality beverage service, and strong supplier relationships across all beverage categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day cellar operations, stock handling and rotation
  • Manage beverage ordering, receiving of goods and stock control
  • Maintain beer reticulation systems and cleaning procedures
  • Conduct and oversee monthly beverage stocktakes
  • Liaise with beverage suppliers and wine representatives
  • Assist with wine selection and wine list coordination
  • Ensure RSA, RSAT and WHS compliance
  • Maintain accurate POS and inventory records

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Thorough understanding and practical application of POS systems
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Proven experience controlling monthly beverage stocktakes
  • Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong experience dealing with beverage reps (Carlton, Lion, Diageo, Wine Reps)
  • Comprehensive cellar management experience
  • Physical fitness suitable for cellar duties
  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Current RSA Certificate
  • Current RSAT Certificate
  • Current Driver’s Licence
