The ‘Sub Branch’ is the local representation of the Returned and Services League of Australia, (NSW Branch) - a not-for-profit charity operating within the local community.
It’s role is to serve the needs of sub branch members, other veterans in the Ex-Services community, members of the Australian Defence Force and their dependents in local area of the Sub Branch.
The Sub Branch does this by:
- Providing a means for members to enjoy camaraderie and mateship
- Providing welfare and social support services to those members and other Ex-Service men and women when they require it
- Organising advocacy and representation for all ex-service men and women regardless of their membership in the league as required
- Running commemoration and remembrance activities in the local community and supporting education activities
- Supporting democratic principles and fostering good citizenship among the young people in the local community
- Managing RSL assets for the benefits of its members; and
- Providing a respected and meaningful voice within the local community.
Sub-Branch Meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 3:30 pm.

There will be no monthly sub-branch meeting in December, in lieu the sub Branch Christmas Lunch will occur.
Should members of the Sub Branch require transport to attend meetings please email one week prior to the meeting in order to have transport arranged.

ANZAC DAY 2026
The following information is provided by the Nambucca Heads RSL Sub Branch.
ANZAC Day Schedule
- Arrive 5.15am for 5.30am Dawn Service
- On completion of Dawn Service breakfast will be served in the RSL.
- Main March & Service
- 8.15am Assemble in Bowra St opp. Commonwealth Bank
- 8.30am March steps off south to the War Memorial, RSL Carpark
- 9am Commencement of service
- 11:30am Luncheon, free for Sub Branch members, $40 for non members
- 2pm Two Up
