Over $54,000 donated to community
Nambucca RSL Club presents over $54,000 back to community
Nambucca RSL proudly supports its community by providing donations to local groups to help build infrastructure and assistance to locals through the Club Grants Program.
On Friday night, the Club donated $54,185 to four organisations who will use the funds to build local facilities, increase specialist services and help the community.

The organisations were:

  • Little Wings
  • Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter
  • Nambucca Valley Council
  • Lions Club of Nambucca Heads
Little Wings received $3,185 which will go towards flying children from the mid-north coast to specialists medical treatment at the children’s hospitals in Sydney.
WESTPAC Life Saver Rescue received $11,000 to support its service and fundraising efforts in the region.
Nambucca Valley Council will use its $15,000 to provide new shelter sheds and seating adjoining the recently improved children’s playground at Gordon Park.
And The Lions Club of Nambucca Heads will put its $25,000 to build a whale viewing platform, concrete pathways, and works at Lions Park as well as installing Christmas decorations in Bowra St.
A big thanks to Melinda Pavey for attending our presentation night and supporting our Club.
